A look into Erika's home

After seeing Erika's home featured on Paloma Contreras blog I immediately raided her blog ...shop talk. Erika is a graphic designer and owner of Small Shop Studio. Erika comes from a background of interior design and 8 years ago ventured into graphic design and started her own business. She recently allowed High Gloss magazine to showcase her beautiful home... And now I'm sharing it with you. Enjoy!

Erika's office storyboard.
I adore her beautiful vintage bookshelf. Erika found this beauty at a local thrift store. now that is definitely a find! I love how she organized the shelving to be functional.

I love the use of color in the office and the practicality of it all. It's stylish and functional without taking away from the design aspect.

A glimpse into the detailing of her living room...

The bedroom is unisex and eclectic. On the opposite end of the bedroom is a more feminine side with a jewelry box, makeup, and perfume. A play off of the masculine aspect works really well though.

I love love love her dinning area. Very Hollywood regency.

Love is in the air...

What a perfect and magical scene. Sit back and watch the beautiful wedding of Coco Rocha and James Conran in Loire Valley of France. I know this short film has been around for a while but I thought id share it with my fellow readers. I guess I'm just in one of those romantic moods tonight. A toast to the beginning of wedding season...

Loves of the month...

Here are a few pics that have been piling up on my desktop from this months issue of house beautiful. I know I must have been living under a rock but I just subscribed to this magazine 2 months ago and had never heard of it before. I'm currently obsessed with it and always have their website opened on my desktop.

I adore modern bunk beds in a cottage or beach house. It's perfect for when you have guests and a great space saver.

I'm loving the white couch with royal blue frill. Apparently the designer bought the white couch and added the frill on herself for an extra touch of color.

The perfect place to sip some coffee and brows on your computer or write in your journal on a Sunday morning.

What a cozy nook to show off your favorite books and to cuddle up with a blanket and retreat from the world.

Golden Gate Beauty

Interior designer Ken Fulk got free reign on designing this stunning San Fransisco family home. What I would do to have that opportunity... Anyways... With a mainly black and white palette you would think the interior would be cold and uninviting, but the neutral colors pull it all together for a cozy feel. Fulk has created a nice mix of comfortable, practical and savvy design. Here is a look into the home, what a beauty.

I spy with my little eye something that is... Jonathan Adler pillows. :)

Love the Geisha type entrance.

Hello, crocodile wallpaper. love!

I want to cook up a storm in this kitchen. I died when I saw how high the ceilings are.
