My Happy Place

As i've mentioned before, the country house that my family used to own when I was a child is my happy place. If I could ever own another piece of property apart from my main home in the city i'd be knocking on the new owners doors asking to buy it back. Since the good old days of driving up to the country for the weekend, i've always been drawn to the design of cozy country homes. I guess it's the scandinavian side of me that is to blame :)

Naturally I was thrown off my feet when this months copy of Elle Decor arrived in the mail last week. OMG! This tops all country homes. I would move in right away and not have to touch a thing. Beautifully designed by M Elle Design, this rustic-chic home is perfection.


















Though not as luxurious, here it is, my happy place...
